Ganon(dorf) Through the Ages

Almost every single Zelda game's main antagonist is Ganon or Ganondorf (or both). They are all unique and have different backgrounds and storylines. These are a few of my favorite designs for Ganon or Ganondorf.

Ganon - Legend of Zelda
This was the first Ganon ever. The classic Ganon design resembles a bulldog more than a boar.

Ganon/dorf - Ocarina of Time
This ganon looks a lot more like a boar than the original version. This was also the first Ganondorf. He looks sort of demonic.

Ganondorf - Windwaker
In Windwaker Ganondorf looks almost like a king. He towers over Link so that makes him pretty intimidating.

Ganon/dorf - Twilight Princess
This is the most boar-like Ganon there is. The huge pig provides a very exciting battle. This is actually my favorite Ganondorf design. He looks like a warrior. The wound in his stomach makes him look almost immortal. He is by far the most powerful looking Ganondorf design.

and finally....

Ganon - CDI games
THIS IS THE BEST GANON! BOW DOWN TO HIM!
Jk, he's the worst

A revolutionary game

Ah, video games. I (usually)love your....everything! But when it gets right down to it, it's because of LoZ that I love video games so much. Not only that it is the game that got me loving video game, but also that some of the things that make us love games or just not rage quit are because of Zelda. The Legend of Zelda was the very first game to EVER have save files! The very first game where you could save your progress! Right now, I want you just to think about all the games you know of that have save files. Just about all the RPG games you can get your hands on have save files all because of Zelda! Not only was Zelda the first game to have save files, but it created a brand new idea for video games everywhere: exploration. The very first Zelda game was inspired by Miyamoto's childhood and how he'd go out exploring a lot. It was the game to introduce the idea of searching around and wandering the world! No, the map of The Legend of Zelda certainly is small compared to other game's vast reaches, but if Miyamoto hadn't taken the risk of making a game with big new ideas, then there probably wouldn't be other games that are based off of exploration. Miyamoto also introduced beautiful music into his games that carried on to almost every modern video game.

In a nutshell, Miyamoto made such a big, revolutionary risk that allowed countless other video games to be fun.

The Imprisoned

With giant black scales, rows of sharp teeth, long orangutan arms, and even a strange set of circular wings, any Skyward Sword fan knows of the dreaded Imprisoned. The monster locked in the Sealed Grounds brings most players to their demise * wink wink*. Of all the people I have asked, no one has really enjoyed all three battles with The Imprisoned, and clearly so. It's awfully tedious to slash away at his gross toes until he falls over in the first battle, but nothing compared to the agony of the second battle. With mammoth arms, it's impossible to walk around him, so one must jump down to the lower level then go back up the air vent things. If your luck is at all like mine, he'll already be standing up and on his way even before reaching the air vent, but is that the only way to beat him?

You've probably already figured out the trick, but I'll say it anyway. In the second (or even first) battle with The Imprisoned, run ahead of him and go up the nearest air vent(careful you don't run out of stamina or he'll run you over.) Now, have Groose launch a bomb at him(you can not do this in the first battle) now The Imprisoned will stand still. Jump on his head and hit the stake into his head. Keep doing that until he dies.

After you go back up to Skyloft and fight Levias, it's right back to The Imprisoned. (again Nintendo?!) Well, time to fight The Imprisoned a third time, there's no avoiding it. Just do the same thing as you did in the second battle. And he's down! Wait, what's this? He has-- what are those? Oh, they're wings. 'Cause nothing screams wings like a magical circle hovering over a beast's back, huh? Oh well, we'll go with it. Now he flies! Shoot him down with the Groosinator and hit the stake into his head. He start flying again and Groose just happens to not be able to access his bombs. Go up to the track as fast as you possibly can and get launched on to The Imprisoned's back!(that, of course, is the only way to defeat him) Hit the stake in, and all is well!

You know, with this method of defeating The Imprisoned, I might just have had fun! Comment if you beat the Imprisoned like this or some other way. Did you actually enjoy the fights? If so, would you do it again for fun?

Bosses

Zelda bosses are fun. Most of the time. I think bosses have to be properly challenging and enjoyable(duh.)  If a boss is too easy or too hard, it is no longer enjoyable. Take Morpheel(water temple, Twilight Princess) for example, it's pretty fun to grapple on to him(I'm assuming it's male) and repeatedly stabbing  the eye on his back, but it's not challenging. It's not easy to get hurt by him; he just swims around, he doesn't even chase you. To stick with Twilight princess for a bit, I think Stalord(Arbiter's Grounds) is awesome! First phase, spews out harmful-purple stuff and you have to avoid it AS WELL as the undead soldiers that spawn every where. THEN there's the second phase where you have to leap from rail to rail, avoiding giant fireballs then you crash into his face. Fun. My very favorite boss that I've battled so far is Klokotos(Ancient Cistern, Skyward Sword.) I died the first time a battled him but after I got the hang of it, it was AWESOME! Using his giant swords do destroy him was truly satisfying. It was plenty challenging too! like I said, I died the first time I fought him. He flings boomerang-battleaxes and undead Bocoblins, not to mention the Zantish spin attack with six enormous swords!
Feel free to comment your favorite Zelda boss and what you think makes a boss fun!
